I cannot believe it but a month from today we will be celebrating the boy’s birthday! Oh my how time flies!!!!
He is growing and changing so much. He really is no longer a baby.We no longer have to carry baby food or bottles. He is down to one bottle a day and eats whatever we eat… so that’s nice : ) We switched out his car seat because he exceeded the weight limit on the carrier. Don’t worry he is still facing backwards. I also instituted a new rule, if we go out he has to wear shoes. He likes to get down and walk by holding our hand, so shoes are a must! He LOVES to be outside and cries when I shut the door : ) It is so hot in Savannah…. outside time is becoming shorter and shorter.
He is still not walking by himself… crawling suits him just fine. He can cruise along the furniture or crawl anywhere he wants to go. We are seeing his personality come out more and more. He is quite the comedian… he knows he is funny and uses that to his advantage when he is in trouble. He LOVES people, quite the extrovert. The other day I went out with the staff wives. Trey went with me because Mark was still working. This older couple sat at a table beside us. Trey instantly made friends. He was pointing at them and reaching for them while hopping out of my lap trying to go sit with them…. sigh…. seriously he has never met a stranger : )
He loves kids and babies too. He has new friends in the nursery. One of them is a sweet six month old girl. I was told on Sunday that he was trying to give her head butts…. we will have to try to teach him that is a fun game with Daddy and not little babies : ) He has so much fun with the kids I keep. They crawl around the house and get into everything together.I love to watch them play. I am sad this will be our last week with them for the summer. I know Trey will miss the company!
Every day we get to know him better and love him more! He gets to be more and more fun! These 11 months have been amazing! We can’t wait to watch him grow!
The only way we can all enjoy the beach is to take our portable play pin : ) Trey doesn’t care as long as he gets time in the water and sand!
Auntie Mol came to visit for a few days last week. We had so much fun!

*sigh* I miss seeing him grow. He is such a doll and I can see why he never meets a stranger. That smile is a magnet!! I sure hope my Cole gets some meat on his bones FAST! Otherwise his cousins are gonna torture him
Aimee didn’t bring Tanner to meet him with Layla, she said he would break Cole. Andy said…. “break him, he might EAT him”!! I’m also jealous that you can run to the beach whenever, so awesome!! We can’t wait to get to visit!

He is a mess!
I promise Monica before you can blink Cole will be this big! It is so sad but fun! Oh Trey will be meeting Mr. Cole. He will probably have to be kept at a safe distance but he loves babies!
The beach is beautiful and wonderful we go at least once a week… but it lacks that whole vacation element. You know what I mean? It is different when you live here. But it is still awesome and we love it!
